- Scoped, designed, built custom touchscreen register on top of ShopKeep.com API system and Mercury Payment Systems API.
- Interactive community/ecommerce website with point-of-sale integration. Built on WebKit's Mercury Framework.

- Designed a modular MVC PHP framework featuring CMS, blogs, photo galleries, user management, messaging, chat, ecommerce, forums and more.
- Efficient page processing with URL translation built in at the core for SEO.
- Mercury is currently the foundation for 30+ sites including three social networks

- Built a multi-school band portal on the Mercury Framework.

- Developed the backend functionality modules that provide quick implementation of dozens of website tasks.

- Search engine optimization (SEO) built into the tools using URL rewriting.
- Worked on ecommerce sites for dozens of clients.

Pharmacy Choice, RN.com, 2007-2008
- Part of a team of developers working on a rewrite of RN.com.
- Consulted with team on application architecture.
- Performed needs-analysis, database design and lead development.

WolfNet Technologies, MLSFinder.com, 2002-2007
- Data architect for rewrite of MLSFinder.com, the largest IDX real estate data aggregator in the country.
- Performed needs analysis, database design and acted as lead developer.
- Unified six data models and developed flexibility to allow for site and broker customizations without disrupting the core code base.
- This system has allowed WolfNet to move from 6 real estate markets into 250.
- Wrote and researched 300-page specification for a large related real-estate intranet project. Included data schema.

The City of Casper, Website Specification, 2007-2008
- Developed a specification for the next City of Casper (Wyoming) website.
- Interfaced with ten city departments to identify needs and determine which aspects of their city databases should be shared online and through what means.
- Created wireframe mockups for usability feedback prior to site.
- Surveyed a representative sampling of the user base for how they would use the site.

- Developed a system to allow manufacturers to interface with their sales representatives.
- Written in Fusebox using DHTML to perform AJAX-like data updates.

- Worked at Fallon-McElligott developing database applications for Qualcomm, Purnia and BMW.
- Worked at Hartford Life on a Solaris platform building a tool to unify personal data between five legacy mainframe systems.

Space150/Honeycomb Internet, 1998-200
- Database design and lead developer on UnitedStreaming.com, now owned by Discovery Channel.
- ActionScript developer on award-winning hi-wire.com site that fed dynamic data to Flash.
- Built system for Out-Of-Home Media to manage their outdoor advertising locations across the country. Built a spreadsheet-interface in JavaScript to provide easy access to financial information.

Advanced Informatics, 1998-1999
- Developed web application for use in evaluating educational medical facilities.
- Designed the data model and was lead developer on the project based on functional specification provided by client.

Red Oak Technologies, NetResponse, 1997-1998
- Lead developer and data architect for NetResponse, an intranet trouble ticket management application for Netscape Communications.
- Leveraged cutting edge dynamic HTML technology that enabled us to deploy this application directly within Netscape’s HTML email client as well as on the web.

Lion’s Den LLC, CommerceSoft, 1994-1997
- Developed a commercial shopping-cart engine in Perl, later in C.
- Early clients included Paramount Pictures, SkyMall.com and HP.

ColdFusion community
As an active member of the ColdFusion community the following are some additional accomplishments of note:
- Author of published ColdFusion coding methodology Blackbox, Blackbox 2.
- Developing CFKungFu, an open-source platform for ColdFusion. This served as a predecessor to the PHP Mercury Framework.
- Part of a panel discussing improvements to Fusebox in preparation for version 3. Features mirroring my suggestions made it into versions 4 and later.
- President of the Twin Cities ColdFusion User Group Dec 98 - June 2001.
- Author of several articles for the ColdFusion Developer's Journal.
- Technical editor for a New Riders book on ColdFusion.
